Qatar Foundation and TriClub Doha bring you the Education City Triathlon.

Centred around the Qatar Academy Primary carpark and Recreation Centre at Education City, with a pool swim, then bike and run courses on closed internal roads ...this is a triathlon that truly caters to all ages and levels, with a choice of three distances; the possibility to compete as a relay; a short 'Beginners' race; and a fun Mini-Kids first tri for the under sevens. The Education City Triathlon truly has something for everyone and to reward your efforts, a commemorative medal is awarded to all finishers, with the top three in each category receiving podium awards.

Yes. Both men and women can take part and will start at the same time. In previous editions we have organised a separate women-only start in order that only women are in the pool while swimming; however the rest of the venue is mixed. Please contact us if a women-only start is something which would enable you to participate.

Younger children are welcome to get in on the action in the mini-kids event. For the TriStart race, the minimum recommended age is 7 years: Participants must be able to complete the course safely, including swimming 50m without stopping and cycling on roads with other athletes without supervision.. If your child is capable and will enjoy the challenge, then we may allow them to compete. We will stop an underage child from racing if they are causing potential danger to themselves and other participants.
